Planning Your Trip

It is our goal to make sure your experience is a memorable one and preparation is key to a successful trip. Outdoor Activities require physical activity and a level of physical fitness. Please take the time to properly fill out the necessary forms. You are required to complete these forms PRIOR to engaging in any Canadian Wilderness Walkabouts activities.

• ​Waiver
• Get Active Questionnaire by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology to evaluate your ability to be physically active
• Participation Form including participants information and emergency contact
• Travel insurance with adequate coverage for the activities you will be participating in*

​Please read the information provided for recommended clothing and gear, for the winter excursions.   If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

​Participant(s) may be refused participation on a Excursion at Canadian Wilderness Walkabouts discretion if they are not dressed properly/inadequately prepared for their own safety, deemed to be physically unfit, due to poor weather conditions, or any instance where Canadian Wilderness Walkabouts feels the participant or other participants are in danger. In such circumstances, participants will not be reimbursed.

Weather Policy
Weather is unpredictable and out of the control of Canadian Wilderness Walkabouts. Canadian Wilderness Walkabouts may cancel or postpone a trip if the weather conditions are deemed unsafe for its participants. Participants will not be reimbursed for such cancellation or postponing.

*If you are outside the province of Ontario, you are required to show proof of travel insurance with adequate coverage for the activities you will be taking part in.
