Preparing Trails for Sawmill Lake Classic

The Sawmill Lake Classic is in Quetico Provincial Park. This year the trails needed a lot of work to be ready for the event. Chris Stromberg and Paul Duquette did most of this work, we joined them for a few days also. Above we are at Baptism Creek checking the ice thickness for safety.

Having a lunch fire on the last day. Always nice to enjoy a freshly grilled sandwich.

It was a long day but we made it to Pickerel Lake on the Whiskey Jack Trail! Ready for the Sawmill Classic!
